Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko participates in Eastern Partnership Annual Conference

On March 2, 2018 during the working visit to the Republic of Estonia, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, participated in the 5th Eastern Partnership Annual Conference in Tallinn. The event was organized by the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership in cooperation with the European Commission.

In his statement within the thematic section “A View From Inside: Building on the 2017 EaP Summit”, O.Kravchenko presented the Belarusian position on the evolution of the Eastern Partnership in a pragmatic and non-confrontational manner, as well as approaches to develop cooperation with the European Union in a bilateral format.

The conference was organized in the format of reports and panel discussions, during which the Deputy Director General of the European Commission, Katarína Mathernová, the Foreign Minister of Estonia, Sven Mikser, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, the Director of the Office of Eastern European Affairs within the U.S. Department of State, Jorgan Andrews, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Darius Skusevičius, and others addressed the participants of the conference.
