Fourth session of Belarus-Korea Joint Committee held in Minsk

On May 25, 2016 Minsk hosted the fourth session of the Joint Committee on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Valentin Rybakov, the Korean delegation was led by the Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Lee Tae-ho.

In the course of the session, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral trade and investment cooperation, prospects for collaboration in science, technology and informatization.

The Belarusian side proposed a number of joint projects and suggested measures on reduction of visa barriers in order to promote business contacts between the two countries.

Following the results of the Fourth session of the Joint Committee, the Heads of delegations signed the final document.

During the visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Korean delegation will hold negotiations at the High-Tech Park, Industrial Park “Great Stone” and JSC “Polimaster”.
