Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Chile held in Minsk

On September 3, 2019 Minsk hosted consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Evgeny Shestakov, the Chilean delegation was led by the Secretary General for Foreign Policy (Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Patricio Torres.

During the consultations, the parties discussed the interaction between the two countries in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other spheres, the prospects for expanding the legal framework of the Belarusian-Chilean cooperation, as well as the development of dialogue between the regional integration blocs, of which Belarus and Chile are participants. A number of current issues of the international agenda were also considered.
