Meeting of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation took place in Chernigov

On July 24, 2015 Chernigov (Ukraine) hosted meeting of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Semashko and Vice Prime Minister — Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Municipal Economy of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko headed the work of the commission.

During the meeting the sides discussed current issues and prospects of bilateral cooperation in industry and agriculture, between regions and interaction in the area of transport. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of investment potential, the development of industrial cooperation and financial instruments of support of the mutual trade turnover.

The parties signed protocol, which reflects the directions of cooperation between Belarus and Ukraine on the current issues of mutual interest.

The outcomes of the meeting confirmed mutual interest of the parties in the creation of conditions for further expansion of the strategic partnership in all spheres of economy.
