Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated the country video presentation “Belarus: One Day In Life” The film is an extended and remade version of the material, released in the end of December 2011.
The video presents short scenes from the life of modern Belarus. The story begins with an early morning landscape at a picturesque Belarusian lake, demonstrates everyday life of the country, different aspects of day-to-day activities. Special accent is made on architectural landmarks and natural scenery. Original music of a Belarusian composer complements the video presentation.
The first version of the film proved popular among the viewers. Tens of thousands of demonstrations clearly confirm this. Various state authorities, business associations and individual companies on a regular basis request the permission to demonstrate the video during their own events with participation of foreign partners, and on international exhibitions.
The video is of the interest to the Belarusian audience as well. During the festivities in Minsk, dedicated to the Day of the Republic the video was screened on two sites in the city.
Opinions and proposals of the Belarusian and foreign audience made after viewing the first video were taken into consideration during the production of the second version of the film.
One of the main differences is the incorporation of traditionally shot sequences in the time-lapse video. Miss Belarus 2012 Yuliya Skalkovich appears in these scenes. On August 18, 2012 the Belarusian beauty queen will take part in the Miss World competition in China.
Video presentation is available on the web-site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on the Youtube channel of the Foreign Ministry.
