Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko visits Romania

On March 23-24, 2017 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, visits Romania to participate in the Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Romania.

During the visit, O.Kravchenko met with the Deputy Chair of the Commission for Foreign Policy of the Senate of Romania, Alina Gorghiu. The sides discussed the intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation, including the interaction within regional and international organizations.

In the course of the meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Romania, Christian Dima, the parties considered current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Belarus and Romania in the economic and investment spheres, holding in Bucharest in the Fall 2017 of the session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Romanian Commission on economic cooperation.

The interaction between the representatives of business circles, as well as prospects for cooperation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries were discussed at the meeting with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, Mihai Daraban.

During the negotiations between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, and the President of the European Foundation Titulescu, Adrian Nastase, the parties discussed the potential of the Belarusian-Romanian cooperation in science and education, as well as prospects for implementation of joint projects.
