Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations – Executive Director of UNAIDS

On April 11, 2017 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations – Executive Director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), Michel Sidibé.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS.
UNAIDS Executive Director highly appreciated progress in HIV/ AIDS prevention and treatment at the national level and welcomed regional initiatives of Belarus in this field.
