Ambassador of Belarus A.Mikhnevich meets the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives of the Parliament of Belgium

On November 29, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium, Aleksandr Mikhnevich, held a meeting with the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of Belgium, Siegfried Bracke.



During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of relations between Belarus and the EU, the development of cooperation in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. Special attention was paid to the prospects for intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Belgium.

A.Mikhnevich informed S.Braeke on the recent parliamentary election campaign in Belarus and steady progress in improving Belarusian election legislation in line with the OSCE/ODIHR recommendations.
