Ambassador of Belarus A.Ponomarev presents Credentials to the President of Lebanon

On April 21, 2017 in Beirut, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Lebanese Republic non-resident, Aleksandr Ponomarev, presented Credentials to the President of the Lebanese Republic, Michel Aoun.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current state and prospects for development of Belarusian-Lebanese relations, a number of issues on the international and regional agenda.

Earlier, the Ambassador of Belarus also presented copies of his Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Lebanese Republic, Gebran Bassil.

The parties outlined ways to intensify the Belarusian-Lebanese cooperation in a number of spheres.
