Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Dapkiunas meets the Ambassador of Ethiopia

On September 12, 2019 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Andrei Dapkiunas, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus non-resident, Alemayehu Tegenu Argau, to present the copies of his Credentials.

During the meeting, the range of issues concerning bilateral cooperation in trade and economic and others fields was discussed. The Belarussian and the Ethiopian diplomates agreed on the necessity to implement determined and additional measures to increase turnover between the two countries.

The interlocutors emphasized the feasibility to trigger the Belarussian-Ethiopian cooperation in education, as well as assistance to more intensive exchange of visits of the government institutions and direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affair of Belarus noted the necessity to conclude some bilateral agreements soon, including on the cooperation in the field of education, taxation, visas issues, as well as on the establishment of the mutual Committee on trade and economic cooperation.
