Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei participates in the opening ceremony of the Trade House of Azerbaijan

On May 26, 2017 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, participated in the official opening ceremony of the Trade House of Azerbaijan in Minsk.

In his welcoming speech, V.Makei stressed the symbolism of the opening in Belarus of Azerbaijan's first trading house abroad. This became possible due to an active bilateral dialogue, which is characterized by a mutual desire to search for new forms of interaction.

There is already a network of “Belorussky” stores in Azerbaijan, and now Belarusian citizens will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the best samples of the well-known Azerbaijani products too.

V.Makei expressed confidence that the Trade House would become the main economic hub of Azerbaijan in Belarus and contribute to further expansion and promotion of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.

During the event, the Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry also had a conversation with the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, got acquainted with the exposition of the goods.
