On August 29, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Special Co-ordinator of the Organzation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) short-term observer mission, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Kent Härstedt.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, as well as a number of issues regarding the organization of the international observation.
