On March 13, 2018 consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Czechia took place in Prague.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Kravchenko, the Czech delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jakub Dürr.
During the negotiations the sides discussed current state and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Czech relations in political, trade and economic spheres, interaction between Belarus and Czechia within international organizations, issues of humanitarian cooperation, the situation in the region.
The parties confirmed the importance of the contacts intensification at the level of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and agreed on further practical steps for their development.
The Head of the Belarusian delegation also met with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czechia, Martin Stropnický. The sides discussed the most topical issues of the bilateral agenda.
