Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Dapkiunas meets the Ambassador of Palestine

On August 7, 2018 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Dapkiunas, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Belarus, Khalid Ariqat.
During the meeting, sides discussed the development of the situation around Palestine and the latest developments in the Middle East. The Deputy Minister and the Ambassador agreed that balanced and responsible measures of all sides carried out with respect to the principles of international law and the fundamental interests of neighbors and partners are extremely essential for the preservation and successful development of the peace process in the Middle East.
Special attention was paid to the possibilities for deepening cooperation between the two countries on the international arena. Belarusian and Palestinian diplomats exchanged views on a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, in particular, on the development of trade and economic cooperation aimed at significant increase of mutual trade and opportunities for promising trade and economic projects.
