Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office

On March 13, 2017 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the German delegation led by the Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office, Michael Roth, that arrived in Minsk to take part in celebrations on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Germany. Among the delegation members was also the Head of the Bundestag German-Belarusian Parliamentary Group, Oliver Kaczmarek.

In the course of the meeting, the sides exchanged Letters of Congratulation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, and the Federal Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (on March 13, 2017).

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as Belarus – EU interaction, exchanged views on the current issues on the international agenda.

The participants of the meeting enjoyed a thematic exposition of archival documents and photographs prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus together with the German Embassy in Minsk.
