Permanent Representative of Belarus V.Rybakov meets the UN Secretary-General

On July 17, 2019, the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN, Valentin Rybakov, met with the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres. The meeting took place at the UN headquarters in New York.
During the conversation, the sides discussed the issues of preparing a High-Level International Conference “Combating terrorism through innovative approaches and the use of new and emerging technologies” organised by Belarus and the UN, which would be held in Minsk on September 3-4, 2019, as well as the participation in the conference of the UN Secretary-General.
The parties also exchanged views on the most pressing issues in the field of international relations, as well as on the state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and the UN.
The UN Secretary-General highly praised the efforts of Belarus in strengthening international and regional security.
