Ambassador of Belarus V.Goshin presents Credentials to the President of Lao PDR

On February 14, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Lao People’s Democratic Republic non-resident, Vladimir Goshin, presented Credentials to the President of Laos, Bounhang Vorachith.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the whole spectrum of bilateral issues and highlighted the importance of enhancement of trade and economic cooperation, as well as of further expansion of Belarus – Lao legal base.

During the visit to Lao PDR, V.Goshin held meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, Saleumxai Kommasith, and the Minister of Science and Technology of Laos, Boviengkham Vongdara.

During the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, the sides underlined a high level of political cooperation between the two countries and discussed prospects for boosting bilateral trade.

At the meeting with the Minister of Science and Technology of Lao PDR, the parties discussed the issues of the establishment of Joint Laboratory for the study of the quality of natural resources of Lao PDR.
