Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei meets Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of Austria
04 May 2015On May 4, 2015 in Minsk Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria Sebastian Kurz.
During the meeting the parties discussed a wide range of issues of the bilateral agenda with focus on trade, economic and political cooperation, as well as on a number of issues of international and regional agenda.
The Ministers reached an agreement to hold a number of joint events, including the next round of consultations between the foreign ministries, as well as the 12th session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Austrian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation between Belarus and the EU, the prospects of the development of the “Eastern Partnership” initiative.
