Belarus and Bangladesh sign final protocol of the meeting of joint commission

On April 25, 2019 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Dapkiunas, and the Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Tipu Munshi, signed the final protocol of the first meeting of the Belarus-Bangladesh commission that was held on April 23 in Minsk.
The document reflects the reached agreements in promoting the development and strengthening of the Belarus-Bangladesh cooperation in trade and economic sphere, possible areas of diversification and simplification of trade, technological cooperation and other forms of cooperation in the fields of energy, information technology, medicine, agriculture, light industry and others.
During the visit to Minsk, the Bangladeshi delegation held meetings in the Council of Ministers, Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, visit to the National Academy of Sciences, a number of high-tech enterprises and the “Khatyn” Memorial.
