Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei holds a meeting on the promotion of Belarusian nominates to UNESCO Lists

On May 25, 2017 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, as a Chair of the National Commission for UNESCO, held a meeting on the promotion of Belarusian nominates to the UNESCO Lists.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice, Minsk City Executive Committee, the National Library of Belarus, the Center for Belarusian Culture Studies, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, experts.

Participants of the meeting discussed a wide range of issues related to the implementation of Belarus' commitments regarding the UNESCO conventions in the field of culture and protection of historical and cultural heritage, as well as coordinated the algorithm of joint actions to expand the presence of Belarusian entries in the UNESCO List.
