Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko meets the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus

On January 19, 2017 within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Cyprus, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, met with the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus,. Demetris Syllouris.
During the meeting, the sides discussed ways of intensification of bilateral cooperation between the Parliaments of Belarus and Cyprus, including the possibility of creating the Groups of Friendship. The sides exchanged views on the prospects for expansion of the direct contacts between parliamentarians, including at international venues.
The Head of the Belarusian delegation informed the interlocutor on the results of the meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus.
The sides agreed on the existence of a significant potential for the development of bilateral contacts and decided to continue coordinated work on its’ implementation.
