Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valentin Rybakov meets Ambassador of Sweden

On May 31, 2016 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valentin Rybakov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Belarus Martin Oberg.

The Sides discussed possibilities for enhancement of cooperation between Belarus and Sweden in the United Nations.

Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, international technical cooperation, implementation of the Paris Сlimate Agreement, international Chernobyl cooperation, and fight against trafficking in persons, international security and counter-terrorism were highlighted as promising areas of joint efforts.

Mr Rybakoм and Mr Oberg agreed that close cooperation on the multilateral agenda could significantly contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Belarus and Sweden.
