On January 10, 2017 the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Romania, Andrei Grinkevich met with the State Counsellor to the Prime Minister of Romania, Coordinator of Department for Sustainable Development, Laszlo Borbely.
During the meeting, the interlocutor was given an invitation to a Regional SDG Coordination Forum: Building a Partnership to Underpin National Sustainable Development Solutions, which will take place in Minsk on 21-22 February 2018. L.Borbely expressed intention to attend the event highly appreciating Belarus’ initiative on establishing cooperation between national institutions and other mechanisms responsible for the SDG implementation in the region.
The parties exchanged information on the activities on the national levels, aimed at SDG implementation, agreed to establish bilateral interaction on this track and discussed a wide range of issues on the international agenda.
The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission briefly presented the trade, economic, investment, tourism and educational potential of the Republic of Belarus.
