On the Visit of the Belarusian Delegation to Kenya

On October 16, 2014 Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Mr.Valentin Rybakov started the visit to Kenya.

The Belarusian delegation includes the representatives of the Ministry of Industry, “MAZ”, “MTW” and a number of enterprises and organizations.

The Embassy of Belarus, under the auspices of the National Chamber of Commerce of Kenya held the round-table conference “Belarus-Kenya”, which was attended by the representatives of more than 30 Kenyan companies interested in developing cooperation with Belarus.

The presentation of economic and export potential of Belarus, the possibilities and prospects of trade and economic cooperation with our country was held. After the presentation business matchmaking session was organized. Within the session the representatives of business communities of the two countries established direct contacts.

Within the event the Head of the Belarusian delegation met with the Chairman of the National Chamber of Commerce of Kenya Mr.Kiprono Kittony.

The sides agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries and the organization of the visit of the Kenyan business circles to Belarus.
