Finnish business delegation visited Belarus

On April 22-24, 2015 Finnish business delegation headed by Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland Matti Anttonen visited Belarus.

On April 22 Matti Anttonen and the Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksandr Guryanov visited OJSC “Lidskoe Pivo”. The delegations were informed of the implementation of the Finnish investment project by Olvi company.

On April 23 Minsk hosted Belarusian-Finnish business forum organized by Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Finnish organization for export promotion “Finpro”.

The program included presentations of economic potential of both countries and business matchmaking session. The representatives of 39 Belarusian and 25 Finnish companies discussed cooperation in energy, transportation and logistics, agriculture and forestry, woodworking industry, finances.

During the visit Matti Anttonen met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova.

The Finnish delegation also held meetings in the ministries of economy, trade, energy, finance, forestry, tax collection, agriculture and food, internal affairs, transport and communications, housing and communal services, others, as well as visited a number of enterprises.
