Consultations between Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Latvia

On September 27, 2017 Minsk hosted Belarusian-Latvian consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs on the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers.

The Belarusian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alena Kupchyna, Latvian delegation was headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrejs Pildegovičs.

In the course of the Consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, including the prospects and ways of expanding the cooperation in political, trade, economic, and transit spheres, strengthening of bilateral legal base, the agenda of Belarus-EU dialogue, as well as the intensification of contacts in the framework of international organizations.
