Exchange of Messages on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Greece

On March 7, 2017 in Sofia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Bulgaria and Greece non-resident, Vladimir Voronkovich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to the Republic of Bulgaria, Grigorios Vasilokonstandakis.

The Ambassador of Belarus handed over to the Greek side the Congratulatory Message by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greek, Nikos Cotzias, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (on March 5, 2017).

During the meeting, the sides confirmed the commitment to develop bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest. The Ambassadors of Belarus and Greece exchanged views on the possibility of holding in 2017 of a number of joint events, including the exchange of visits, the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Greek commission on trade and economic cooperation, as well as the next round of inter-ministerial consultations.
