Exchange of Letters of Congratulation between the Foreign Ministers of Belarus and Turkey on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations

On March 24, 2017 exchange of Letters of Congratulation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Turkey (on March 25, 2017) took place.

The Letter of the Belarusian side notes that for a quarter of a century Belarus and Turkey have passed a significant way of formation and development of friendly and equal relations, set strong traditions of cooperation based on the principles of mutual trust and respect. It is emphasized that the official visit to the Republic of Belarus of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in November 2016 that was held for the first in the history of bilateral relations, has testified that the Belarusian-Turkish interaction has advanced to a qualitatively new level.
