Ambassador of Belarus A.Korol meets the Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania

On January 10, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Lithuania, Alexander Korol, met with the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Viktoras Pranckietis.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for development of bilateral relations, cooperation in trade, economic, humanitarian, scientific spheres, as well as in tourism.
The parties underlined the necessity to intensify the inter-parliamentary cooperation, including the possibility of the facilitation of the exchange of visits of parliamentary delegations. Special attention was paid to the issues in the field of nuclear energy.
