Ambassador of Belarus A.Guryanov visits Malta

On October 20-21, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Italian Republic and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Malta Aleksandr Guryanov within the framework of a working visit to Malta met the Speaker of Maltese Parliament Angelo Farrugia and the Minister for Foreign Affairs George William Vella.
A special attention during the official meetings was paid to the actual international agenda as well as to further intensification of Belarus — European Union relations in the light of the forthcoming Maltese presidency in the EU. Bilateral relations were also thoroughly discussed in the view of facilitating trade, economic and investment cooperation, interaction in the logistic sphere and development of a bilateral legal basis. Parties agreed to implement a number of concrete initiatives in the nearest future.
