Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei visits the Embassy of Cuba

On November 30, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Belarus, where he left a note in the book of condolences on the death of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of Cuba to Belarus, Gerardo Suarez Alvarez, V.Makei conveyed condolences to the relatives and friends of Fidel Castro, as well as the entire Cuban people, which has suffered an irreparable loss in a prominent politician of the twentieth century and a national hero of Liberty Island.
During the meeting, the sides confirmed the willingness of Belarus and Cuba to continue initiated by Fidel Castro development of strategic partnership between our countries, based on the principles of mutual respect and trust in the intergovernmental dialogue.
