K.Madenoglu and M.Oshikawa highly appreciated the work carried out by Belarus within the realization of the decisions taken at the 8th meeting of the Working Party on Belarus’ accession to the WTO in January, 2017 in Geneva.

The parties agreed that the WTO Secretariat will circulate the first Draft Working Party Report (final document) to be considered at the 9th meeting of the Working Party on Belarus’ accession to the WTO in 2017.

The bilateral negotiations on market access for goods and services were held with interested WTO Members, during which the Belarusian delegation managed to bring positions closer and create prerequisites for the completion of negotiations with a number of WTO Members in the second half of 2017.
