Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Ambassador of Lithuania

On August 24, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Belarus, Andrius Pulokas, on the occasion of presenting by the Ambassador of the copies of his Credentials.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the whole range of issues of the agenda of the Belarusian-Lithuanian relations, including problematic topics.
The Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry expressed hope that an emotional attitude of the Lithuanian side, recently observed in the discussions of the project of construction of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, will settle. The Belarusian side would welcome a constructive Belarusian-Lithuanian cooperation on this issue, which would be in keeping with the spirit of good neighborly relations and would not affect other areas of bilateral collaboration.
