Delegation of Belarus participates in the 201st session of the UNESCO Executive Board

On April 19 — May 5, 2017 the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris hosted 201st session of the Executive Board. The delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the French Republic, Permanent Representative of Belarus to UNESCO, Pavel Latushko, participates in the session.
On April 27-28 members of the Belarusian delegation participated in the meeting of the UNESCO National Commissions.
During the meeting of the Group of Friends, united in the fight against human trafficking under the chairmanship of Belarus, the participants of the event were informed about the efforts of the Republic of Belarus in this direction.
Following the agreements reached during the previous similar meeting, the draft resolution of the UNESCO General Conference “The role of education in combating human trafficking” drafted by the Belarusian side was presented.
