Ambassador of Belarus R.Golovchenko visits Kuwait

On April 4, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the UAE and Kuwait non-resident, Roman Golovchenko, held meetings with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Countries of Kuwait, Walid Al-Khubaizi, and the Deputy Director General of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hamad Al-Omar.

During the meeting in Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed the entire range of issues related to the bilateral relations between Belarus and Kuwait with focus on trade and economic cooperation. The action plan aimed at intensification of mutual cooperation in political, trade and economic, humanitarian areas in 2017-2018 was reviewed.

The sides discussed current state and prospects for development of legal framework of bilateral relations, as well as interaction between the two countries within international organizations.

Current state and prospects for expansion of the Belarusian-Kuwaiti trade and economic cooperation were considered during the meeting in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait. The parties exchanged views on certain steps to be undertaken to increase mutual trade turnover, including exchange of business visits and participation in specialized exhibitions.
