Ambassador of Belarus A.Guryanov presented credentials to the President of Malta

On October 19th, 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Italian Republic and non-resident Ambassador to Malta Aleksandr Guryanov presented credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.
During the meeting of Ambassador of Belarus with the Head of Maltese State the sides discussed the practical issues of bilateral cooperation as well as the actual international themes, considering also a forthcoming in 2017 Maltese presidency in the EU. Parties agreed on further reciprocal steps aimed to enlarge and organize a bilateral treaty basis, to intensify official contacts and realize a practical initiatives in trade, economic and investment fields.
Within the framework of working visit of the Ambassador Aleksandr Guryanov to Malta are also programmed the meetings with the President of Maltese Parliament, Minister for Foreign Affairs and the representatives of local business society.
