Foreign Ministry of Belarus hosts meeting with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Russia, Belarus and Moldova

On May 17, 2017 Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus hosted the meeting of the representatives of the competent government agencies of the Republic of Belarus with representatives of the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Russia, Belarus and Moldova.

The participants discussed the draft Agreement on the status and privileges of the International Committee of the Red Cross on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, presented by the ICRC earlier in order to create necessary legal preconditions for establishment of ICRC office in Belarus.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views and reached understanding on a number of provisions of the draft, as well discussed ways for further promotion of cooperation with the ICRC.
