Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia

On October 24, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

On October 22-25 the Namibian Foreign Minister is paying an official visit to the Republic of Belarus. The delegation includes representatives of a number of the Namibian ministries and organizations.

The sides discussed the entire range of bilateral relations, as well as agreed to intensify cooperation in trade and economic sphere, contacts in the field of education and to organize an exchange of business visits.

Following the meeting, the sides signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia on political consultations.

During the visit, the Namibian delegation also had meetings in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Ministry of Industry, visited BelAZ, Minsk Tractor Works and Belarusian Potash Company.
