Belarusian-Polish Intergovernmental Coordination Commission on Cross-Border Cooperation

On May 26, 2017 Augustus (Republic of Poland) hosted the 12th meeting of the Belarusian-Polish Intergovernmental Coordination Commission on Cross-Border Cooperation.

The Belarusian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Evgeny Shestakov, Polish delegation was headed by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, Jakub Skiba.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation between Belarus and Poland in the field of modernization of the border infrastructure and the improvement of the legal framework.

Following the results of the event, the sides signed the Protocol of the meeting of the Commission.

The next meeting of the Belarusian-Polish Intergovernmental Coordination Commission on Cross-Border Cooperation will be held in the Republic of Belarus in 2018.
