Ambassador of Belarus M.Myatlikov presents Credentials to the President of Georgia

On August 26, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia, Mikhail Myatlikov, presented his Credentials to the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili.

The President of Georgia stressed that our countries have friendly relations that were promoted even further after the visit of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to Georgia in 2015. G.Margvelashvili expressed the readiness of the Georgian side to continue open and mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarus.

The sides noted a significant potential for the realization of joint Belarusian-Georgian projects in industrial cooperation, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, medicine, transport and logistics sector, the development of the tourism industry.

The parties also pointed out that the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, including the agreement regarding opening of the Belarusian Embassy in Georgia, contributes to further promotion of cooperation.
