Seoul to host Belarusian Economic and Investment Forum

On May 15, 2017 Seoul (Republic of Korea) to host the Belarusian Economic and Investment Forum that coincides with the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Republic of Korea.

The forum is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea together with the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Belarus, Ministries of Economy, Finance, Industry, Belneftekhim concern, the National Academy of Sciences, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the State Agency for Investments and Privatization, the State Administration of the High Technologies Park, industrial and petrochemical enterprises will participate in the forum.

The Korean side will be represented at the event by such companies as Hyundai Engineering, Kia Motors Corporation, Samsung Electronics, LG International Corporation, Mando Corporation, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Corporation.

The forum is aimed at further development and intensification of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, establishment of direct contacts between representatives of business circles of Belarus and Korea.
