Ambassador of Belarus V.Markovich meets the Deputy State Secretary – Political Director of the Latvian MFA

On January 18, 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Latvia, Vasily Markovich, met with the Deputy State Secretary – Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Jānis Mažeiks.
The parties discussed bilateral relations, as well as the interaction of Belarus with the European Union.
The sides confirmed the interest in expanding and intensifying the mutually beneficial cooperation in political, economic and other spheres. They also underlined the importance of good-neighborly and partner relations between the two countries based on trust and respect of the interests of each other.
