On May 14, 2019 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Dapkiunas, met with the appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Belarus, Tae Jun Youl, on the occasion of his arrival to Belarus.
The Korean Ambassador presented to the Deputy Minister the copies of his Credentials.
A.Dapkiunas noted that Belarus is ready to expand all-round cooperation with Korea and wished the new Ambassador success in developing cooperation between the two countries. The Belarusian diplomat stressed that during the time when previous Ambassador of Korea to Belarus held the office, Belarus-Korea relations in the field of science and technology, innovation and investment, culture and education were significantly enhanced.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current state and prospects for the Belarusian-Korean relations, the organization of official bilateral visits, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for people-to-people contacts between Belarus and Korea.
