Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus on occasion of New Year and Christmas celebrations

On December 18, 2014 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei with the spouse welcomed the heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations accredited in the Republic of Belarus with their spouses in Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre in Minsk on the occasion of New Year and Christmas celebration.

The Foreign Minister of Belarus congratulated the guests on the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays and wished good health, happiness, welfare, peace, harmony and prosperity for the people of all countries.

The festive atmosphere of the event was created by the presented fragments of the performance «Mestachkovae cabaret».

The tradition of a New Year meeting of the Minister and his spouse with the heads of diplomatic representatives and their spouses was established last year. It was initiated to promote cultural potential of Belarus and introduce the attendees to the historical heritage of our country.
