Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Latvia

On April 10-11, 2018 Minsk hosted consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Latvia on international legal issues.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Director-General for Treaty and Legal Affairs, Andrei Metelitsa. The Latvian delegation was led by the Director of the Law Department, Sanita Pekale.

The sides worked on updating the lists of bilateral treaties in force between Belarus and Latvia, exchanged information on the practice of implementation of treaties and progress in concluding new international legal instruments.

During the consultations, the parties also discussed other international legal issues including cooperation within international organizations.
