Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets Vice-President of Venezuela

On June 5, 2018 during his working visit to Venezuela, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Vice-President of Venezuela for Planning, Co-Chairman of the Joint Belarusian-Venezuelan Commission, Ricardo Menendez.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current level and perspectives of Belarusian-Venezuelan relations, as well as cooperation in industry, construction and agriculture.

Special attention was paid to the expansion of bilateral trade including coordination and realization of measures of the Program “The Road Map of Bilateral Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the Short-term and Long-term Perspectives”.

The parties also discussed preparations for the next 8th meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Venezuelan Commission to be held in Caracas.
