Ambassador of Belarus A.Ermolovich meets with the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan

On November 15, 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Andrei Ermolovich, met with the Additional Secretary for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Aman Rashid.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of Belarus-Pakistan relations taking into account the agreements reached earlier at the highest level.

The mutual interest in enhancing the work of the institutional mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, in particular of the Joint Belarus-Pakistan Commission on trade and economic cooperation, in order to increase the bilateral turnover, as well as the working groups on agriculture and industry was noted.

The interlocutors discussed a widespread involvement of business communities of Belarus and Pakistan into the process of trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The sides also examined the issues of preparing of the political consultations on the level of the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Pakistan that planned in November 2019 in Islamabad.
