Consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Iran

On August 24, 2016 Minsk hosted the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Iran.
The Belarusian delegation at consultations was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Valentin Rybakov, the Iranian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Ebrahim Rahimpour.
During the consultations, the parties discussed the whole range of current issues of bilateral relations, including preparation of visits at different levels, interparliamentary dialogue, state and prospects for trade and economic relations, legal framework of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation in the field of science. The parties also considered the international issues of mutual interest.
The sides agreed on future steps aimed at the promotion of bilateral cooperation.
