Deputy Foreign Minister O.Kravchenko participates in the opening ceremony of the new premises of the office of the Embassy of Finland in Minsk

On April 18, 2019 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Oleg Kravchenko, took part in the opening ceremony of the new premises of the office of the Embassy of Finland in Minsk.
In his statement O.Kravchenko emphasized friendly and active nature of dialogue between Belarus and Finland, the coincidence of interests in many areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including security issues in the European region.
During the event, O.Kravchenko also met with the Under-Secretary of State for External Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Markku Keinänen.
During the meeting, the parties focused on discussing bilateral economic cooperation and Belarus’s accession to the WTO.
Taking into account the forthcoming Finnish Presidency in the EU Council in the second half of this year, the interlocutors paid special attention to the Belarus-EU cooperation and events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the EU Eastern Partnership.
