Ambassador of Belarus I.Sokol meets the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine

On January 13, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine, Igor Sokol, met with the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Vladimir Omelyan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of transport, the possibility of participation of Belarusian construction organizations in major infrastructure projects in Ukraine, as well as the progress of implementation of tdecisions reached during the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian Joint Commission on trade and economic cooperation, that was held in November 2016 in Minsk.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to hold in the near future the meeting of bilateral Working Group on Transport, as well as to promote cooperation between the railway administrations of the two countries.
